Our Visit To Legoland Windsor

We went to England for business and for our family holiday vacation this summer.  I tried to look for a theme park that Mary would love in England and I found Legoland Windsor.  Windsor is an hour drive from central London.  We booked our transportation online and visited Windsor for a day.  Windsor is also known for Windsor Castle (where the Queen would typically spend her weekends) but I will write more about it in another blog post.

Our Tropical Vacation Part III: Farm Life In Silang, Cavite

Our next memorable destination in the Philippines is my husband’s family farm in Silang, Cavite, which is just ten minutes away from the center of Tagaytay.  Tagaytay is another popular tourist destination in the Philippines because of the cooler weather, gourmet restaurants, and beautiful view of Taal volcano and Taal lake.  It is also just one and a half hours away from Manila.

Our Tropical Vacation 2015 Part II - Majayjay, Laguna

One of my favorite destinations in the Philippines is my grandfather’s private resort located in Majayjay, Laguna. Despite our hectic vacation schedule, I see to it that we visit this private resort because it is definitely worth the trip.   Laguna is one of the biggest provinces in the Philippines.  The province has also been known for its hot springs.  I say Laguna is the right place if you're looking for Philippines’ equivalent to Japan's onsen.  I know a lot of my friends rent private resorts in Los Banos, Laguna.

Tropical Vacation 2015 Part I: Boracay Island

My husband and I originally came from the Philippines.  Although we love staying here in the US, I see to it that we visit the Philippines regularly.  It is our second home because our extended family still lives there.  But beyond family, there is something about the Philippines that we really love.  It is the simple country living and the ability to spoil ourselves with white-sand beaches.
