Our Tropical Vacation 2015 Part II - Majayjay, Laguna

One of my favorite destinations in the Philippines is my grandfather’s private resort located in Majayjay, Laguna. Despite our hectic vacation schedule, I see to it that we visit this private resort because it is definitely worth the trip.   Laguna is one of the biggest provinces in the Philippines.  The province has also been known for its hot springs.  I say Laguna is the right place if you're looking for Philippines’ equivalent to Japan's onsen.  I know a lot of my friends rent private resorts in Los Banos, Laguna.

Back to my grandfather’s private place in Majayjay, Laguna, we love staying here because of the relaxing ambiance. It is a perfect venue for our family to catch up. There is a river flowing in the middle of the resort.  Mary and the other kids in the family love to swim in the natural swimming pool while adults like me simply enjoy indulging ourselves with our favorite Filipino dishes and enjoying never-ending fun conversations with family.

And because this place is undeniably beautiful both interior and exterior, we couldn't help but to do some of our photoshoots for Chichi Mary here ;)  As a result, we captured some of my favorite lifestyle images for our Sophie Catalou's  collection mostly available at our Manila based online store, Chichi Mary Outlet.

Here are some of of our other photos:

Every little girl loves the dramatic flow of the  High Low Dress.  It's like the modern version of the princess dress.

  1. Hi, my name is Majet Cirio i'd like to inquire about your nipa huts is there a possibility of shooting in and outside of one of them possibly for a low price or for free since we have no budget for location shoots. I'm a grade 12 student of Paranaque Science High School a public institution and as a semester project we were tasked to create a short film picturing pre-colonial Philippines.
